This 1887 Heritage Home featured a complete interior restoration with the seamless addition of living space to all floors. In keeping with the 19th century design, board and batten siding with tongue and groove soffits were a complimentary application to the exterior addition. Tongue and groove ceilings in the kitchen along with a stove imported from France and custom cabinetry combine the aesthetics of old with the function of today. The family room ceiling was detailed in barn beams with tongue and groove ceiling panels, accentuating the timber mantel on the stone fireplace. Reproduction door and window hardware as well as period light fixtures were sourced to beautifully accent the interior of this home. The updating of this historic building maintains the elements and charm of the original build. Great selections by the homeowner!
